Our practices reflect the environmental interests and concerns of our guests, associates, business partners and communities, which is detailed in our latest activities.

50 Associates of the Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa marked the Spirit To Serve Our Communities Day by planting 800 new trees in a mangrove nature reserve.The Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa Team happily got their hands dirty to help preserve Chonburi’s costal ecosystem.

Associates at Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa took part in a big beach clean up as part of Earth Day 2009. General Manger led a team of associates in their efforts to make the area in front of the resort a cleaner and healthier place to work, rest and play.

Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa took part in global efforts to save the environment when it turned off the lights for Earth Hour. Guests at Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa who pledged not use electricity in their rooms during Earth Hour were given Food & Beverage discounts.

Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa has partnered with the Royal Thai Navy in Satthahip for the Protection of the Sea Turtle project. The project helps with the protection of four different endangered species of sea turtles successfully hatch their young, protecting the eggs and then releasing them with a special ceremony.

Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa embraces the popular “reduce, recycle, reuse” philosophy when it comes to handling waste and excess. The hotel have been recycling glass, plastic and other materials and have developed creative ways to cut back on unnecessary packaging and paper consumption.

Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa Management and associates in planting trees at Coral Island as part of Environment Activities. The team hoped to raise public awareness of environmental issues and get people involved in efforts to ensure the future fertility of the land.
