Community service take many forms, but all have one thing in common and that is to support the needy. We at the Pattaya Marriott & Spa are very proud we are part of hundreds of communities within Pattaya and the East Coast. In Pattaya,
Thailand; most urban areas face the same problems that modern day societies throughout the world; people in need with
few resources, youth at risk and educational issues.

Below are a few examples of how Pattaya Marriott Resort and Spa is addressing the community's needs.

The Management of the Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa:-
     • Held a Charity Boxing Gala dinner to raise money for the Camillian Center for HIV/AIDS patients in Rayong.
     • Pay a regular visit and donate food to the Pattaya Redemptionist School for the Blind.
     • In keeping with the spirit of giving, instead of sending Christmas cards gave a donation to the
        "Chaiyapruk Foundation" for abandoned babies with HIV/AIDS.
     • In cooperation with the Border Police made merit by donating Baht. 73,919.- to the Klong Daeng
       school in Jantaburi. This will help many poor children, who have difficulties at school, as the school has only 4 class
       rooms and 3 teachers.
     • In cooperation with the Plutaluang District made merit by donation Baht 43,000 for scholarships to the Plutaluang
       school in Sattahip. The objective is to help many poor and needy children whose families have difficulty in funding
       their education.

Our On-going projects: Help children of Ban Jing Jai and Leamchabang Technology, upgrade sound lab for
Nikom sang Ton Ang Rayong 3 School

We are now sponsoring the education for 9 children of Ban Jing Jai who have recently witnessed the passing of
their parents.

Every Tuesday between 1.00pm - 2.00pm we host a weekly activity program by inviting the children from the Fountain
of Life Center to our fitness center for fun. activities, games and goodies.

On Going Mabprachan School Project: 70 KIDS, AGE BETWEEN 7-10 YEARS, 3 TEACHERS Building 2/story, 643 sqm. Roof Repair approx 88 sqm. Concrete Floor 335 sqm. Repair Wooden Floor 118 sqm. Inside Roof Repair 56 sqm. Rain water drain 145 sqm. Building Re-pain 1,120 sqm.
Teacher House, Two Story, One Toilet       Fence Concrete Block 1 meter, High 177 meter Steel Door 1.2 meter, High 6 meter 2 sets     Landscaping Spirit House-Front of house, Thai National Flag + Base, Landscape , Football Field School Sign name   In Part Project: The resort is now sponsoring the Sea Turtle Project to help a sea turtle nursery. The project that is run by the Royal Thai Navy in Satthahip is helping these endangered species to successfully hatch its young. On Going Student’s Funds Project: The Spirit to Serve project supports the three students from Rayong School by giving them fund to continue their study from Certificate until finishing their Bachelor degrees. We also provide them the accommodation at staff complex during their studying in Pattaya.
